Ahmed Shehzad's record-breaking 64-ball 98* and Mohammad Hafeez's fifty sets up to Pakistan crushing 19-run victory over Zimbabwe and clean sweep the two-match series with 2-0 whitewash in the second T20I.

Match Stats : 
  • Ahmed Shehzad's 98 was the highest score for Pakistan in T20 International cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 87 held by Misbah-ul-Haq against Bangladesh at Karachi in 2008.
  • Ahmed Shehzad became the first Pakistan batsman to hit six sixes in an innings in T20Is.
  • 143* : Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad set up the record second-wicket partnership for Pakistan in T20 international, previously held by the 96-run stand between Salman Butt and Shoaib Khan jnr against same opponent at King City (NW) in 2008, It is the third-highest second-wicket stand in T20Is and Pakistan's record any-wicket stand in T20Is, previously held by the 142-run stand between Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt against Bangladesh in the 2010 World Twenty20.
  • Pakistan's 179 was their ninth highest score in T20 international and It is their second highest total against Zimbabwe in T20Is.
  • Zimbabwe's 160 was their sixth highest score in T20 international and It is their highest total against Pakistan in T20Is, previous highest was 136 at same venue in 2011.
  • This is the fifth time Pakistan have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral two-match series in T20 international and their second against Zimbabwe in T20Is.
  • This is the seventh time Zimbabwe have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral two-match series in T20 internationals.

Pakistan scored 179-1 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ahmed Shehzad 98 not out, Mohammad Hafeez cracked a unbeaten 54 off 40-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes and Nasir Jamshed struck 23 off 17-balls included 3-fours & a six.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Wellington Masakadza took one-wicket for 42-runs in 4-overs.

Zimbabwe scored 160-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Hamilton Masakadza struck 41 off 32-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Elton Chigumbura blasted a unbeaten 35 off 19-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike-rate of 184.21, Sean Williams 25, Vusi Sibanda 23 and Malcolm Waller 20.

Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Hafeez picked up 3-wickets, Zulfiqar Babar took 2-wickets and one for Anwar Ali.

Ahmed Shehzad named player of the match for record-breaking career-best unbeaten scintillating 98-runs knocked off facing 64-balls including 6-sixes and 6-fours with strike rate of 153.12.

Ahmed Shehzad earned player of the series for contributing 168-runs including two half-centuries in the two-match T20I series.
