Craig Kieswetter and Kevin Pietersen powered to England emphatic seven-wicket victory over Australia and lift the their first ICC global title in the World Twenty20 final match.
Australia were 8-3 to scored 147-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Hussey struck 59 off 54-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Cameron White blasted a 30 off 19-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.89, Michael Clarke 27 and Michael Hussey 17 not out.
England best bowler by Ryan Sidebottom took two-wicket and one for Luke Wright - Graeme Swann.
England chased 148-3 in 17 overs with top scorer by Craig Kieswetter 63, Kevin Pietersen hammered a quick-fire 31 off 47-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 151.61, Eoin Morgan 15 not out and Paul Collingwood 12 not out.
Australia best bowler by Steve Smith, Mitchell Johnson and Shaun Tait each took one-wickets.
Craig Kieswetter named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 63-runs knocked off facing 49-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 128.57.
Kevin Pietersen earned player of the series for contributing 248-runs in the tournament.
