Umar Akmal's 54-ball 94 sets up to Pakistan thrilling 16-run victory over Australia, despite a Glenn Maxwell's blast in a high-voltage game of the 16th match of a World Twenty20.

* Glenn Maxwell hammered a 18-ball joint fourth-fastest fifty in T20 international and the joint fastest fifty by an Australian batsman in T20Is, jointly 18-ball half-century held by David Warner against West Indies at Sydney in 2010.

* Glenn Maxwell's strike rate of 224.24 is the fourth-highest for an Australian batsman who's faced at least 25 balls in an innings.

* Umar Akmal's 94 was the second-highest score by a Pakistan batsman in T20 internationals after Ahmed Shehzad's unbeaten 98.

* The No. 4 batsmen from both teams were the top-scorers, and totalled 168 runs in the match, the highest by No. 4 batsmen in a T20I; the previous-highest was 164, by Ricky Ponting (98 not out) and Scott Styris (66) in the first ever T20I, in 2005.

* Bilawal Bhatti went for 30 runs in the 8th over of the innings, the joint fourth-most expensive over in Twenty20 internationals.

Pakistan's 191 was their joint fourth highest-score in T20 internationals and it is their second highest total against Australia in T20Is.

Pakistan scored 191-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Umar Akmal 94 - who fell six-run short of his century and Kamran Akmal cracked a run-a-ball 31-runs including 4-fours.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile takes two-wickets, Doug Bollinger, Mitchell Starc and Shane Watson each took one-wickets.

Australia scored 175 for all-out in 20 overs with top scorer by Glenn Maxwell blasted a 74 off 33-balls including 7-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 224.24.

Aaron Finch cracked a 65 off 54-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes.

Pakistan best bowler by Zulfiqar Babar, Umar Gul, Shahid Afridi, Bilawal Bhatti each took two-wickets and one for Saeed Ajmal.

Umar Akmal named Player of the match for rapid 94-runs knocked off facing 54-balls including 9-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 174.07.
