Rapid fifties from Openers Cameron White, Aaron Finch and Debutant Chris Lynn's assault before Nathan Coulter-Nile's four-for helped to Australia narrow 13-run victory over England, despite a Ravi Bopara's record-breaking fifty and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring thriller of the first T20I.

Australia scored mammoth total of 213-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Cameron White 75, Aaron Finch blasted a 52 off 32-balls including 5-fours and 3-sixes strike rate of 167.74.

Debutant Chris Lyon - who scored a unbeaten 39 off 19-balls on his debut T20I match - including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 173.68 and Glenn Maxwell struck 20 off 13-balls Included 2-fours and a six with strike-rate of 153.84.

England best bowler by Stuart Broad, Ravi Bopara and Luke Wright each took one-wickets.

England scored 200-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ravi Bopara blasted a unbeaten 65 off 27-balls including 7-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 240.74.

Joe Root struck 32 off 24-balls included 3-fours & a six, Alex Hales cracked a 22 off 12-balls including five-fours with strike rate of 183.33 and Jos Buttler 20 off 14-balls with one-four and a six with strike-rate of 142.85.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 31-runs in 4-overs, Moises Henriques took two-wickets, Glenn Maxwell takes 1-wicket and debutant James Muirhead - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Cameron White named Player of the match for his rapid 75-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 6-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 174.41.
