Three-wicket hauls from Lakshmipathy Balaji and Yuvraj Singh after Virat Kohli's fifty helped to India hard-fought 23-run victory over Afghanistan in the third match of a World Twenty20.

India scored 159-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 50, Suresh Raina struck 38 off 33-balls including 6-fours, Yuvraj Singh 18 and MS Dhoni 18.

Afghanistan best bowler by Shapoor Zadran takes 2-wickets, Dawlat Zadran, Karim Sadiq and Mohammad Nabi each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan scored 136 for all-out in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Nabi blasted a 31 off 17-balls including 2-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 182.35, Karin Sadiq 26, Nawroz Mangal 22 and Mohammad Shahzad 18.

India best bowler by Lakshmipathy Balaji takes 3-wickets for 19-runs in 3.3 overs, Yuvraj Singh picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs, Ravichandran Ashwin took two-wickets and one for Irfan Pathan.

Virat Kohli named Player of the match for his brilliant 50-runs knocked off facing 39-balls including 4-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 128.20.
