Yuvraj Singh leads to India thrilling six-wicket victory over Australia, despite a Aaron Finch's quick-fire 89 in a high-scoring thriller of the one-off Twenty20 international.

  • Yuvraj Singh hammered a 25-ball his fourth fastest fifty for India in T20 international and his second quickest against Australia in T20Is.
  • India chased 202 was the joint third highest successful run-chase in T20 internationals.
  • India's 202 was their third highest score in T20 international and their highest total against Australia in T20Is.
  • 403 : This was the sixth highest aggregates match in Twenty20 internationals and it is also the highest between India and Australia in T20Is.
  • Australia's 201 was their sixth-highest score in T20 international and also their highest total against India in T20Is.

Australia scored massive total of 201-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch blasted a 89 off 52-balls including 14-fours & a six with strike rate of 171.15.

Debutant Nic Maddinson - who scored 34 off 16-balls on his debut T20I match - including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 212.50 and Glenn Maxwell cracked a 27 off 13-balls included 4-sixes with strike-rate of 207.69.

India best bowler by Vinay Kumar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar both picked up 3-wickets and one for Ravindra Jadeja.

India chased 202-4 in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Yuvraj Singh 77 not out, Shikhar Dhawan cracked a 32 off 19-balls including five-fours with strike-rate of 168.42, Virat Kohli 29, MS Dhoni 24 not out and Suresh Raina 19.

Australia best bowler by Clint McKay took two-wickets and one for Xavier Doherty - Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Yuvraj Singh named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten rapid 77-runs knocked off facing 35-balls including 8-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 220.
