JP Duminy's record-breaking 96* sets up to South Africa narrow 8-run victory over Zimbabwe, despite a fighting knocks from Brendan Taylor - Prosper Utseya's each 59-runs and South Africa clinch the two-match series 2-0 whitewash in a high-scoring thriller of the second T20I.

  • South Africa's 194 was their fifth highest score in T20 international and their highest total against Zimbabwe in T20Is.
  • JP Duminy's 96 was the highest score by an South African batman in T20 internationals, surpassing the previous record of 94 by Loots Bosman against England at Centurion in 2009.

South Africa scored massive total of 194-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by JP Duminy blasted a unbeaten 96 off 54-balls.

Graeme Smith struck 46 off 29-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 158.62, David Miller 25.

Zimbawe best bowler by Prosper Utseya, Wellington Masakadza both took two-wickets and one for Brendan Taylor - Chris Mpofu.

Zimbabwe scored 186-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Brendan Taylor blasted a 59 off 39-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 151.28, Chamu Chibhabha struck 59 off 41-balls included 6-fours & two-sixes with strike-rate of 143.90.

Elton Chigumbura cracked a 26 off 15-balls including 3-fours and a six with strike rate of 173.33.

South Africa best bowler by Rusty Theron, Robin Peterson both took two-wickets and one for Johan Botha - Lonwabo Tsotsobe.

JP Duminy named Player of the match for his career-best unbeaten whirlwind 96-runs knocked off facing 54-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 177.77.
