All-round Mohammad Hafeez sets up to Pakistan massive 85-run victory over Zimbabwe and take a 1-0 lead in a one-sided game of the one-off Twenty20 international.

  • Pakistan's 85-run win was their third largest victory by terms of runs in T20 Internationals.
  • Mohammad Hafeez's 4 for 10 was the third best bowling figures for Pakistan in T20 international and Pakistan's best figures against Zimbabwe in T20Is.
  • Pakistan's 198 was their second highest score in T20 internationals and also their best total against Zimbabwe in T20Is.

Pakistan scored 198-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Hafeez 71, Asad Shafiq struck 38 off 23-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 165.21.

Debutant Rameez Raza - who scored 23 off 27-balls on his debut T20I match - included two-fours.

Umar Akmal blasted a unbeaten 22 off 11-balls including four-fours with strike rate of 200 and Sohail Tanvir hammered a quick-fire 17 not out off 5-balls included 2-sixes with strike-rate of 340.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Chamu Chibhabha, debutant Kyle Jarvis - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match and one for Ray Price.

Zimbabwe scored 113 for all-out in 15.2 overs with top scorer by Charles Coventry blasted a 30 off 13-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 230.76, Chamu Chibhabha 28 and Hamilton Masakadza 12.

Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Hafeez claims 4-10, Saeed Ajmal, Sohail Tanvir each takes one-wickets and debutant Aizaz Cheema - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Mohammad Hafeez named player of the match for his match-winning all-round display of claiming 4-wicket haul for 10-runs in just 2.2 overs after a scoring rapid 71-runs knocked off facing 48-balls including 6-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 147.91.
