  • Australia's 89 was their second lowest total in T20 internationals.
  • This was Australia's heaviest T20I defeat ever, in terms of balls remaining.
  • Pakistan beat Australia with 31 balls to spare. This is the most number of balls remaining in a T20I defeat for Australia.
  • The win was Pakistan's fifth against Australia in Twenty20 internationals. South Africa and Sri Lanka are second with four wins each.
  • 3 : The number of fours hit in Australia's innings is the second-lowest for a completed team innings in T20 internationals. The lowest is two fours hit by South Africa against West Indies in Port Elizabeth in 2007 (major Test teams only).
  • Pakistan chased 90 was their lowest successful run-chase in T20 international, previous lowest chase was 93 against Kenya at Nairobi in 2007.

Australia scored 89 for all-out in 19.3 overs with top scorer by David Warner 22, Cameron White 15 and George Bailey 14.

Pakistan best bowler by Sohail Tanvir picked up 3-wickets for 13-runs in 2.3 overs, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez both takes 2-wickets, Debutant Raza Hasan - who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match and one for Umar Gul.

Pakistan chased 90-3 in 14.5 overs with top scorer by Kamran Akmal cracked a unbeaten 31 off 24-balls including 3-fours & a six, Imran Nazir 22 and Mohammad Hafeez 17.

Australia best bowler by Shane Watson, Pat Cummins and Ben Hilfenhaus each took one-wickets.

Mohammad Hafeez named Player of the match for his spin bowling attack to took two key wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs.
