Aaron Finch and David Warner leads to Australia consolation seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the 31st match of a World Twenty20.

  • Shakib Al Hasan's 66 in this match was the first fifty by a Bangladesh batsman in this World Twenty20 and the third-highest individual score for Bangladesh in any World T20. The highest also belongs to Shakib Al Hasan - a 54-ball 84 against Pakistan in the last World T20.
  • Shakib Al Hasan, with 752 runs at 22.78, is now the top run scorer for Bangladesh in T20Is. Shakib and Tamim Iqbal were the joint-top run scorers for Bangladesh before this match, both having scored 686 runs from 35 innings.
  • 112 : Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim set the highest for Bangladesh in the World T20 for any wicket and only the fourth hundred partnership in T20Is by a Bangladesh pair. Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah added an unbeaten 132 runs for the second wicket against West Indies in a T20I in 2012, which is their highest partnership.

Bangladesh scored 153-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shakib Al Hasan struck 66 off 52-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes and Mushfiqur Rahim cracked a 47 off 36-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile takes 2-wickets, Mitchell Starc, Shane Watson and Doug Bollinger each took one-wickets.

Australia chased 158-3 in 17.3 overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch 71, David Warner 48 off 35-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century -including 5-fours & 3-sixes and Cameron White 18 not out.

Bangladesh best bowler by Al-Amin Hossain took two-wickets and debutant Taskin Ahmed - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.
