Colin Munro's 52-ball century set up to New Zealand comprehensive 47-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a Sabbir Rahman - Soumya Sarkar's assault and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second T20I.

  • 68 : Sabbir Rahman and Soumya Sarkar set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against New Zealand in One-day internationals, previously held by the 43-run stand between Mushfiqur Rahim and Naeem Islam at Dhaka in 2013.

New Zealand scored massive total of 195-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Colin Munro 101 - which was his 1st T20I hundred, Tom Bruce blasted a unbeaten 59 off 39-balls including 5-fours and a six with strike rate of 151.28 and Kane Williamson 12.

Bangladesh best bowler by Rubel Hossain picked up 3-wickets, Mosaddek Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza each took one-wickets.

Bangladesh scored 148 for all-out in 18.1 overs with top scorer by Sabbir Rahman 48 off 32-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 3-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 150.

Soumya Sarkar struck 39 off 26-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 150 and Mahmudullah 19.

New Zealand best bowler by Ish Sodhi picked up 3-wickets, Kane Williamson, Ben Wheeler both took two-wickets and one for Mitchell Santner - Trent Boult.

Colin Munro named Player of the match for his power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best 101-runs Knocked off facing 54-balls including 7-sixes and 7-fours with strike rate of 187.03.
