  • England's 3-run win was their joint second smallest victory by terms of runs in T20 international, jointly their 3-run victory against same opponent at Lord's in the 2009 World Twenty20.

England scored 180-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Eoin Morgan 71, Alex Hales blasted a 40 off 25-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 160.

Joe Root scored 26 off 29-balls including 2-fours and Ravi Bopara hammered a 21 off 9-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 233.33.

India best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets, debutant Karn Sharma - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohit Sharma both took 1-wickets.

India scored 177-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli blasted a 66 off 41-balls including 9-fours & a six with strike rate of 160.97.

Shikhar Dhawan struck 33 off 28-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, MS Dhoni 27 not out and Suresh Raina 25.

England best bowler by Steven Finn, Harry Gurney, Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes each took one-wickets.
