An outstanding all-round display from Glenn Maxwell's 58-ball century with three wickets helped to Australia crushing five-wicket victory over England in the second match of a Trans-Tasman Tri-series.

Glenn Maxwell hammered a 58-ball second fastest century by an Australian batsman against England in T20 internationals after Aaron Finch's 47-ball hundred at Southampton in 2013. England's 155 was their seventh highest score against Australia in T20 internationals. 78 : D'Arcy Short and Glenn Maxwell set up the joint third highest third-wicket partnership for Australia against England in T20 international and It is their joint tenth highest third-wicket stand in T20Is, jointly unbeaten 78-run stand held by between Cameron White and George Bailey against same opponent at Melbourne in 2014.

England scored 155-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dawid Malan blasted a 50 off 36-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 138.88.

Alex Hales struck 22 off 15-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 146.66 and Eoin Morgan scored 22 off 14-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 157.14.

Australia best bowler by Glenn Maxwell 3-10, Ashton Agar takes 2-wickets, Marcus Stoinis, Kane Richardson, Andrew Tye and Billy Stanlake each took one-wickets.

Australia chased 161-5 in 18.3 overs with top scorer by Glenn Maxwell 103 not out - which was his 2nd T20I hundred and his first century against England in T20Is.
