Sri Lankan middle-order batsman Kusal Perera scored a fighting 77-runs knocked off facing 37-balls including 7-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 208.10 but failed to chase 88-run short of victory and managed the 177 for all-out in 17.2-overs, Reply of India's 260 in the second T20 international.
* Kusal Perera equalled a 26-ball joint fifth fastest fifty for Sri Lankan in T20 international, jointly with Tillakaratne Dilshan and Dilshan Munaweera.
* 7 : Kusal Perera hit the most sixes in an innings for Sri Lanka in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 5-sixes jointly hit by Jehan Mubarak, Tillaknratne Dilshan, Angelo Mathews and Asela Gunaratne.
Kusal Perera who blasted his 7th T20 international fifty and his 50 came from 26-balls.
