Mohammad Nabi and Mohammad Shahzad set up to Afghanistan domineering 28-run victory over Ireland and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a high-scoring thriller of the third T20I.

Mohammad Nabi hammered a 21-ball fifty and became the fastest by Afghanistan batsman to score 50 in T20 international cricket history. 9 : Mohammad Nabi hit the most sixes in an innings for Afghanistan in T20 international cricket history and the joint sixth in the list of most sixes in an innings in T20Is. 438 : This was the sixth highest aggregate match in T20 internationals and it is also the highest between Ireland and Afghanistan in T20Is. Afghanistan's 233 was their highest score ever in T20 international cricket history and the eighth highest total in T20Is. 16 : Afghanistan hit their second most sixes in an innings in T20 international and joint sixth in the list of most sixes in an innings in T20Is. Ireland's 205 was their third highest score in T20 international and it is their second best total against Afghanistan in T20Is. Kevin O'Brien's 4 for 45 was the eighth best bowling figures for Ireland in T20 internationals and Ireland's third best figures against Afghanistan in T20Is.

Afghanistan scored mammoth total of 233-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Nabi 89, Mohammad Shahzad blasted a 72 off 43-balls including 6-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 167.44 and Usman Ghani 23.

Ireland best bowler by Kevin O'Brien claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 45-runs in 4-overs, Jacob Mulder took two-wickets and one for Andy McBrine.

Ireland scored 205 for all-out in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Gary Wilson blasted a 59 off 34-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 173.52.

Paul Stirling 49 off 20-balls - who fell one-run short of his second fastest fifty - including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike-rate of 245.

Stuart Thompson hammered a 43 off 18-balls - including 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 238.88, William Porterfield and Lorcan Tucker both scored 16-runs.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan picked up 3-wickets, Karim Janat, Amir Hamza both took two-wickets and one for Mohammad Nabi - Shapoor Zadran.

Mohammad Nabi named Player of the match for his quick-fire 89-runs knocked off facing 30-balls including 9-sixes and 6-fours with strike rate of 296.66.

Rashid Khan earned player of the series for claiming 9-wickets in the three-match T20I series.
