Australia pulled off a record-breaking five-wicket victory over New Zealand, despite a Martin Guptill's 49-ball century in a high-scoring epic game of the fifth match of a Trans-Tasman T20 Triangular series.

New Zealand scored 243-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 105 off 54-balls - which was his 2nd T20I hundred and his first century against Australia in T20Is - including 9-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 194.44.

Colin Munro blasted a 76 off 33-balls including 6-fours & 6-sixes with strike rate of 230.30, Ross Taylor 17 not out and Mark Chapman 16.

Australia best bowler by Kane Richardson, Andrew Tye both took two-wickets and one for Ashton Agar - Billy Stanlake.

Australia chased 245-5 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by D'Arcy Short 76, David Warner blasted a 59 off 24-balls including 5-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 245.83.

Aaron Finch hammered a unbeaten 36 off 14-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours, Glenn Maxwell blasted a 31 off 14-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 221.42 and Chris Lynn 18.

New Zealand best bowler by Ish Sodhi, Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Colin de Grandhomme each took one-wickets.

D'Arcy Short named Player of the match for his match-winning rapid 76-runs knocked off facing 44-balls including 8-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 172.72.
