Rapid half-centuries from Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman sets up to Pakistan thumping 48-run victory over New Zealand and level the series with 1-1 in the second T20 international.

Fakhar Zaman equalled a 26-ball joint eighth fastest fifty for Pakistan in T20 internationals. Pakistan's 201 was their joint second highest score in T20 international and it is their highest total against New Zealand in T20Is. 94 : Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam set up the record first-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in T20 international, previously held by the 81-run stand between Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez at Christchurch in 2010 and Pakistan's fifth highest opening stand in T20Is. 91 : Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed set up the record third-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in T20 international, previously held by the 45-run stand between Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi at Dubai (DSC) in 2009 and Pakistan's third highest third-wicket stand in T20Is.

Pakistan scored mammoth total of 201-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Fakhar Zaman 50, Babar Azam blasted a unbeaten 50 off 29-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 172.41.

Ahmed Shehzad struck 44 off 34-balls including 6-fours & a six and Sarfraz Ahmed hammered a 41 off 24-balls included 3-sixes and 2-fours with strike-rate of 170.83.

New Zealand best bowler by Ben Wheeler took 2-wickets and one for Colin de Grandhomme - Seth Rance.

New Zealand scored 153 for all-out in 18.3 overs with top scorer by Mitchell Santner struck 37 off 28-balls including 4-fours.

Ben Wheeler blasted a 30 off 20-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Martin Guptill 26 and Ish Sodhi 15.

Pakistan best bowler by Faheem Ashraf picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 3.3 overs, Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan both took 2-wickets and one for Rumman Raees - Hasan Ali.

Fakhar Zaman named Player of the match for his rapid 50-runs knocked off facing 28-balls including 5-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 178.57.
