Shaheen Shah Afridi's three-for before Babar Azam, Asif Ali and Mohammad Hafeez steers to Pakistan's record six-wicket victory over New Zealand and took an unbeatable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second T20I.

  • Pakistan chased 154 was their joint ninth highest successful run-chase in T20 international and It is their highest chase against New Zealand in T20Is, previous highest chase was 144 at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • This is the Pakistan's 11th straight series win in T20 international and their 8th consecutive win in a T20Is.
  • New Zealand's 153 was their ninth highest score against Pakistan in T20 internationals.
  • 50 : Colin Munro and Glenn Phillips set up the joint fifth highest first-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Pakistan in T20 internationals, jointly 50-run stand held by between (Lou Vincent and Brendon McCullum at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20 and these same at Abu Dhabi in this series' first T20I.
  • 56 : Babar Azam and Asif Ali set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in T20 internationals.

New Zealand scored 153-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Corey Anderson blasted a unbeaten 44 off 28-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 176.

Colin Munro hammered a 44 off 28-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 157.14 and Kane Williamson scored 37 off 34-balls included two boundaries.

Pakistan best bowler by Shaheen Shah Afridi 3-20, Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim both took one-wickets.

Pakistan chased 154-4 in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam struck 40 off 41-balls including 4-fours.

Asif Ali cracked a 38 off 34-balls included 2-sixes & a four, Mohammad Hafeez 34 not out and Fakhar Zaman hammered a 24 off 15-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 160.

New Zealand best bowler by Adam Milne took two-wickets and one for Colin Munro - Tim  Southee.

Shaheen Shah Afridi named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 4-overs.
