The 18-year old leg-spinner Rashid Khan claimed 5 for 3 after a Najeeb Tarkari's 90 helped to Afghanistan cruising to via DLS method 17-run victory over Ireland and took a unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the two-match series in a rain-hit game of the second T20I.

Afghanistan scored 184-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Najeeb Tarkari blasted a 90 off 58-balls including 7-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 155.17.

Mohammad Nabi struck 34 off 15-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 226.66, Karim Janat 20 and Samiullah Shinwari 17.

Ireland best bowler by Barry McCarthy claimed to a career-best 4-wicket haul for 33-runs in 4-overs, Jacob Mulder and Stuart Thompson both took one-wickets.

Ireland scored 93-9 in 11 overs - due to rain revised target of 111 in 11-overs - with top scorer by Paul Stirling blasted a 34 off 15-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 226.66 and William Porterfield 22.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 3-runs in 2-overs, Karim Janat picked up 3-wickets and one for Shapoor Zadran.
