Rohit Sharma's magnificent century, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya's blitz leads to India chased the record target of 199 against England by a  emphatic 7-wickets and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a high-scoring encounter of the third & final T20I.

India chased 199 was their third highest successful run-chase in T20 international and it is their highest chase against England in T20Is, previous highest chase was 160 at Manchester earlier in this series' first T20I. England 198 was their eighth highest score in T20 international and it is their second highest total against India in T20Is. India's 201 was their third highest score against England in T20 international. 7 : Jason Roy hit the joint most sixes in an innings for England in T20 internationals and the joint 22nd in the list of most sixes in an innings in T20Is. Rohit Sharma became the second batsman to scored three centuries in T20 internationals after Colin Munro. Rohit Sharma hammered a 56-ball his second fastest century for India in T20 international and the second fastest hundred by Indian batsman against England in T20Is after KL Rahul's 53-ball century at Manchester earlier in this series' opening T20I game. Rohit Sharma became the second Indian batsman to score a century against England in T20Is after KL Rahul.

England scored 198-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jason Roy blasted a 67 off 31-balls including 7-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 216.12.

Jos Buttler hammered a 34 off 21-balls included 7-fours with strike rate of 161.90, Alex Hales struck 30 off 24-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes.

Jonny Bairstow cracked a 25 off 14-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 178.57.

India best bowler by Hardik Pandya claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 38-runs in 4-overs, Siddarth Kaul took two-wickets, Umesh Yadav takes 1-wicket and debutant Deepak Chahar - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

India chased 201-3 in 18.4 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma 100 not out - which was his 3rd T20I hundred.

Virat Kohli blasted a 43 off 29-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 148.27, Hardik Pandya hammered a unbeaten 33 off 14-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 235.71 and KL Rahul 19.

England best bowler by David Willey, Jake Ball and Chris Jordan each took one-wickets.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 100-runs knocked off facing 56-balls including 11-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 178.57.

Rohit Sharma earned player of the series for contributing 137-runs with average of 68.50 in the three-match T20I series.
