Rohit Sharma's record-equal 35-ball fastest century and KL Rahul's quick-fire 89 sets up to India massive 88-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a Kusal Perera's assault and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second T20I.

India scored mammoth total of 260-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma 118 - which was his 2nd T20I hundred.

KL Rahul blasted a 89 off 49-balls including 8-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 181.63 and MS Dhoni cracked a 28 off 22-balls included 2-fours & 2-sixes.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Thisara Perera, Nuwan Pradeep both took two-wickets and one for Dushmantha Chameera.

Sri Lanka scored 172 for all-out in 17.2 overs with top scorer by Kusal Perera blasted a 77 off 37-balls including 7-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 208.10.

Upul Tharanga hammered a 47 off 29-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 162.06 and Niroshan Dickwella 25.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal claimed 4-wickets for 52-runs in 4-overs, Kuldeep Yadav picked up 3-wickets and one for Jaydev Unadkat - Hardik Pandya.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to smashed a record 118-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 12-fours and 10-sixes with strike rate of 274.41.
