Rapid half-centuries from Heinrich Klaasen and JP Duminy powers South Africa crushing six-wicket victory over India, despite a unbeaten quick-fire fifties from Manish Pandey - MS Dhoni and level the series 1-1 in the second T20I.

  • MS Dhoni hammered a 27-ball his fastest fifty for India in T20 international and the joint fastest fifty by an Indian batsman against South Africa in T20Is, jointly 27-ball half-century held by Shikhar Dhawan in the first T20I.
  • Heinrich Klaasen hammered a 22-ball third fastest fifty for South African batsman in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an South African batsman against India in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 24-ball half-century held by Morne van wyk at Durban in 2011.
  • 7 : Heinrich Klaasen equalled a joint fourth most sixes hit in an innings for South Africa in T20 international, jointly with Morne van wyk and JP Duminy and the joint most sixes hit by an South African batsman against India in an innings in T20Is, jointly 7-sixes hit by JP Duminy at Dharamsala in 2015.
  • 64 : Yuzvendra Chahal became the most runs conceded by an Indian bowler in T20 international and the joint third most runs conceded by a bowler in T20 internationals, jointly with James Anderson, Sanath Jayasuriya, Andrew Tye and Ben Wheeler.

India scored 188-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Manish Pandey hammered a unbeaten 79 off 48-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 164.58.

MS Dhoni blasted a unbeaten 52 off 28-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike-rate of 185.71.

Suresh Raina struck 31 off 24-balls including 5-fours and Shikhar Dhawan hit 24 off 14-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 171.42.

South Africa best bowler by Junior Dala took two-wickets and one for JP Duminy - Andile Phehlukwayo.

South Africa chased 189-4 in 18.4 overs with top scorer by Heinrich Klaasen 69, JP Duminy blasted a unbeaten 64 off 40-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 160.

Reeza Hendricks struck 26 off 17-balls including 5-fours with strike-rate of 152.94 and Farhaan Behardien 16 not out.

India best bowler by Jaydev Unadkat took 2-wickets, Hardik Pandya takes 1-wicket and Debutant Shardul Thakur - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Heinrich Klaasen named Player of the match for his match-winning power-hitting career-best rapid 69-runs knocked off facing 30-balls including 7-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 230.
