Najibullah Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Nabi fireworks sets up to Afghanistan crushing 28-run victory over Zimbabwe, despite a late assault from Regis Chakabwa in the second match of a Triangular series.

  • Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Nabi added 107 runs in just 6.4 overs, the second-fastest 100-plus partnership in T20Is, as well as the second-highest fifth-wicket stand in the format.
  • Afghanistan hit the seven sixes in a row in T20 international cricket history. (Mohammad Nabi's 4 and Najibullah Zadran's 3 between overs from 16.3 to 17.3).
  • Najibullah Zadran hammered a 22-ball his joint second fastest fifty for Afghanistan in T20 international.

Afghanistan scored 197-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Najibullah Zadran 69 not out, debutant Rahmanullah Gurbaz who struck 43 off 24-balls on his debut T20I match - including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 179.16.

Mohammad Nabi blasted a 38 off 18-balls including 4-sixes with strike-rate of 211.11.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara both took two-wickets and one for Ainsley Ndlovu.

Zimbabwe scored 169-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Regis Chakabwa blasted a unbeaten 42 off 22-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 190.90, Ryan Burl 25, Tinotenda Mutombodzi 20, Neville Madziwa and Kyle Jarvis both scored 15-runs.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan, Fareed Ahmad both took two-wickets and one for Gulbadin Naib - Karim Janat.

Najibullah Zadran named Player of the match his rapid unbeaten 69-runs knocked off facing 30-balls including 6-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 230.
