* Angelo Mathews' 4 for 19 was the second best bowling figures for Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League after Shoaib Akhtar's 4 for 11 against Daredevils at same venue in the inaugural 2008 IPL edition and the best-bowling-figures by an KKR bowler against RCB in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 25 held by Ajit Agarkar at Bengaluru in the opening match of inaugural IPL 2008 edition.

RCB scored 135-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jacques Kallis cracked a unbeaten 65 off 52-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 125.

Rahul Dravid struck 21 off 16-balls including 3-fours and Robin Uthappa scored 20 off 17-balls included a boundary.

KKR best bowler by Angelo Mathews claimed a career-best for 19-runs in 4-overs, Murali Kartik took 2-wickets and one for Charl Langeveldt.

KKR chased 136-3 in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Manoj Tiwary hammered a 50 off 29-balls, Brad Hodge hit 50 off 45-balls including 7-fours and Sourav Ganguly scored 23 off 22-balls included one-six & a four.

RCB best bowler by Roelof van der Merwe took 2-wickets and one for Praveen Kumar.

Manoj Tiwary named Player of the match for his match-winning quick-fire 50-runs knocked off facing 29-balls including 6-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 172.41.
