Opener Matthew Hayden's power-hitting 43-ball 93 and Stand-in captain Suresh Raina's superb unbeaten 49 powers Chennai Super Kings convincing five-wicket victory over Delhi Daredevils, despite a Virender Sehwag's blazing 38-ball 74 in a high-scoring game of the 11th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Virender Sehwag hammered a 22-ball his second fastest fifty for Delhi Daredevils in Indian Premier League.
  • Matthew Hayden hammered a 24-ball his second fastest fifty for Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League.

DD scored 185-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virender Sehwag hammered a 74 off 38-balls including  10-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 194.73.

Mithun Manhas hit a unbeaten 32 off 22-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 145.45, Rajat Bhatia blasted a 21 off 9-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 233.33, Dinesh Karthik 19 and Tillakaratne Dilshan 15.

KXIP best bowler by Lakshmipathy Balaji, Muttiah Muralitharan both took 2-wickets and one for Ravichandran Ashwin - Joginder Sharma.

CSK chased 190-5 in 19.1 overs with top scorer by Matthew Hayden hammered a 93 off 43-balls - who fell seven-run short of his century.

Suresh Raina blasted a unbeaten 49 off 34-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 144.11, Murali Vijay hit a unbeaten 14 off 6-balls contained one-six & a four with strike rate of 233.33 and S Badrinath scored 14 off 15-balls with 3-fours.

DD best bowler by Dirk Nannes, Amit Mishra, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Umesh Yadav each took one-wickets.

Matthew Hayden named Player of the match for his match-winning career-best power-hitting 93 off facing 43-balls including 9-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 216.27.
