KL Rahul's record-breaking century sets up to Kings XI Punjab thumping 97-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a one-sided game of the sixth match of a Indian Premier League.

Match Stats : 
  • KL Rahul's 132* was the highest score by an Kings XI Punjab batsman in Indian Premier League, it is the highest score by an Indian in the IPL and the fourth highest-scorer in IPL.
  • 132* : KL Rahul became the highest scorer by any captain in Indian Premier League history, break the previous record by David Warner's 126 against Kolkata Knight Riders at Hyderabad in 2017.
  • Kings XI Punjab's 97-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League and also their second biggest victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore's 97-run defeat was their fourth worst by margin of runs in IPL.
  • Kings XI Punjab' 206 was their joint ninth highest score in Indian Premier League and it is their second highest total against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.

KXIP scored 206-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul 132* - which was his 2nd IPL hundred, Mayank Agarwal struck 26 off 20-balls including 4-fours, Nicholas Pooran 17 and Karun Nair 15 not out.

RCB best bowler by Shivam Dube took two-wickets and one for Yuzvendra Chahal.

RCB scored 109 for all-out in 17 overs with top scorer by Washington Sundar struck 30 off 27-balls including 2-fours & a six.

AB de Villiers blasted a 28 off 18-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 155.55, Aaron Finch 20.

KXIP best bowler by Murugan Ashwin picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 3-overs, Ravi Bishnoi takes 3-wickets, Sheldon Cottrell took two-wickets and one for Glenn Maxwell - Mohammed Shami.

KL Rahul named Player of the match for record-breaking career-best unbeaten 132-runs knocked off facing 69-balls including 14-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 191.30.
