Adam Zampa's four-for and Josh Hazlewood's three-for after seventies from Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell helped to Australia hard-fought 19-run victory over England, despite a Sam Billings' maiden century and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

Australia scored 294-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Glenn Maxwell blasted a 77 off 59-balls including 4-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 130.50.

Mitchell Marsh struck 73 off 100-balls including 6-fours, Marcus Stoinis hit 43 off 34-balls included six-fours, Marnus Labuschagne 21, Mitchell Starc 19 and Aaron Finch 16.

England best bowler by Mark Wood, Jofra Archer both picked up 3-wickets, Adil Rashid took two-wickets and one for Chris Woakes.

England scored 275-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sam Billings 118 off 110-balls - which was his 1st ODI hunded - including 14-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 107.27.

Jonny Bairstow struck 84 off 107-balls including 4-sixes & 4-fours and Eoin Morgan 23.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa claimed 4-wicket haul for 55-runs in 10-overs, Josh Hazlewood 3-26, Mitchell Marsh and Pat Cummins both took one-wickets.

Josh Hazlewood named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 26-runs in 10-overs including three maidens.
