Hashan Tillakaratne cracked a 35 off 44-balls including 2-fours, Aravinda de Silva scored 33 off 47-balls included one-six & a four and Romesh Kaluwitharana scored a run-a-ball 20-runs.

India best bowler by Javagal Srinath 5-24, Rajesh Chauhan took 2-wickets and one for Manoj Prabhakar - Sachin Tendulkar.

India chased 205-3 in 44.4 overs with top scorer by Vinod Kambli struck 78 off 100-balls including 9-fours.

Mohammad Azharuddin cracked a unbeaten 75 off 105-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

Sachin Tendulkar scored a unbeaten 26 off 30-balls including 4-fours and Manoj Prabhakar 20.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Pramodya Wickramasinghe took 2-wickets 13-runs in 6-overs including a maiden and one for Dulip Liyanage.
