Irfan Pathan's four-for before Sachin Tendulkar's unbeaten half-century steers to India's record eight-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and wrap up 2-0 lead in a one-sided game of the second ODI.

Match Stats : India chased 123 was their tenth lowest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their third lowest chase against Sri Lanka in ODIs. Sri Lanka's 122 was their fourth lowest score in the completed innings against India in One-day internationals. India's 178-balls spare was their third largest victory by terms of balls remaining in One-day internationals and it is their biggest victory against Sri Lanka in ODIs, previous biggest win by 170-balls remaining at Sharjah in 1984. Irfan Pathan's 4 for 37 was his third best bowling performance for India in One-day internationals.

Sri Lanka scored 122 for all-out in 35.4 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara struck 27 off 31-balls including 4-fours, Upul Chandana 19 not out, Farveez Maharoof 18, Russel Arnold 15 and Muttiah Muralitharan 15.

India best bowler by Irfan Pathan 4-37, Harbhajan Singh, Jai Prakash Yadav both took 2-wickets and one for Ajit Agarkar.

India chased 123-2 in 20.2 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar cracked a unbeaten 67 off 69-balls including 11-fours and Virender Sehwag blasted a 38 off 29-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 131.03.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Farveez Maharoof and Muttiah Muralitharan both took one-wickets.
