India best bowler by Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Javagal Srinath, Ajit Agarkar and Anil Kumble each took one-wickets.
India scored 234 for all-out in 48.4 overs with top scorer by Dinesh Mongia cracked a 49 off 82-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 4-fours.
Sachin Tendulkar cracked a 45 off 60-balls including 6-fours, Ajay Ratra hit 30 off 40-balls included 3-fours, Ajit Agarkar struck 29 off 26-balls contained three-fours and Anil Kumble scored 20 off 26-balls with a boundary.
England best bowler by Darren Gough picked up 3-wickets for 46-runs in 9.4-overs, Ben Hollioake, Andrew Flintoff, Jeremy Snape and Matthew Hoggard each took one-wickets.
