New Zealand opener batsman Nathan Astle scored a brilliant 101-runs knocked off facing 132-balls including 8-fours and a six helped to New Zealand set up the decent total of 239 against England in the opening match of a World Cup.
* Nathan Astle became the third New Zealand batsman to score a hundred on the opening day of the World Cup and overall the eighth player in World Cups.
Nathan Astle who slammed his 3rd One-day international century - which was his first century against England in ODIs, also his 1st ODI hundred in World Cups and his 100 came from 126-balls.
