KL Rahul's record-breaking 14-ball IPL fastest fifty and Karun Nair's rapid half-century powers to Kings XI Punjab comfortable six-wicket victory over Delhi Daredevils in the second match of a Indian Premier League.


* KL Rahul hammered a 14-ball fastest fifty ever in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 15-ball half-century jointly held by Yusuf Pathan (KKR) against SRH at Kolkata in 2014 and Sunil Narine (KKR) against RCB at Bengaluru in 2017.


DD scored 166-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Gautam Gambhir cracked a 55 off 42-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Rishabh Pant hammered a 28 off 13-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 215.38, Chris Morris hit a unbeaten 27 off 16-balls included one-six & a four, Vijay Shankar and Dan Christian each scored a run-a-ball 13-runs.

KXIP best bowler by Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohit Sharma both took 2-wickets and one for Ravichandran Ashwin - Axar Patel.

KXIP chased 167-4 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul hammered a 51 off 16-balls, Karun Nair blasted a 50 off 33-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 151.51.

David Miller scored a unbeaten 24 off 23-balls including a boundary and Marcus Stoinis hit a unbeaten 22 off 15-balls contained 2-fours.

DD best bowler by Dan Christian, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris and Trent Boult each took one-wickets.

KL Rahul named Player of the match for his match-winning sensational power-hitting batting performance to smashed a 51 off facing 16-balls including 6-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 318.75.
