West Indies' opener batsman John Campbell produced a record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 179-runs knocked off facing 137-balls including 15-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 130.65 helped to West Indies set up the mammoth total of 381 against Ireland in the opening match of a Tri-nation series.
* John Campbell's 179 was the fourth highest score for West Indies in One-day international and the highest-score by an West Indies batsman against Ireland in ODIs.
* John Campbell's 179 was the highest-score by any batsman against Ireland in One-day international cricket history, Shai Hope's 170 was the second by any batsman against Ireland in this match, surpassing the previous record of 166 held by Brendon McCullum at Aberdeen in 2008.
