Sensational Alzarri Joseph's record-breaking debut 6 for 12 after Kieron Pollard's 26-ball 46* helped to Mumbai Indians comprehensive 40-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in a historic game of the 19th match of a Indian Premier League.

Alzarri Joseph's 6 for 12 was the best bowling figures in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 6 for 14 held by Sohail Tanvir (RR) against Chennai Super Kings at Jaipur in the inaugural 2008 IPL edition. Sunrisers Hyderabad's 96 was their lowest score in Indian Premier League. Alzarri Joseph's 6 for 12 was the best bowling figures by a bowler on debut match in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 17 held by Andrew Tye (GL) against Rising Pune Supergiants at Rajkot in 2017. Alzarri Joseph became the seventh bowler to take a wicket off the first ball on debut IPL match, joining a list that includes Wilkin Mota, TP Sudhindra, Ali Murtuza, Amit Singh, Ishant Sharma and Dwaraka Ravi Teja. Alzarri Joseph became the second bowler to deliver a wicket-maiden in his first IPL over after Pat Cummins.

MI scored 136-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kieron Pollard hammered a unbeaten 46 off 26-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 176.92.

Quinton de Kock hit 19 off 18-balls including one-six & a four and Ishan Kishan scored 17 off 21-balls included 2-fours.

SRH best bowler by Siddarth Kaul captured two-wickets, Mohammad Nabi, Sandeep Sharma, Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar each took one-wickets.

SRH scored 96 for all-out in 17.4 overs with top scorer by Deepak Hooda scored 20 off 24-balls including a boundary.

Jonny Bairstow hit 16 off 10-balls including 3-fours with strike rate of 160, Manish Pandey scored 16 off 21-balls without a boundary and David Warner 15.

MI best bowler by Alzarri Joseph 6-12, Rahul Chahar took 2-wickets, Jasprit Bumrah and Jason Behrendorff both took one-wickets.

Alzarri Joseph named Player of the match for record-breaking debut bowling performance to claimed a career-best 6-wicket haul for 12-runs in 3.4-overs including a maiden.
