Mahmudullah, Shadman Islam, Najmul Hossain Shanto,  Litton Das, Taskin Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz stars as Bangladesh massive 220-run victory over Zimbabwe in a one-sided game of the one-off Test match.

Match Stats : 
  • Bangladesh's 220-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in Test matches.
  • Mahmudullah's unbeaten 150 was his highest score for Bangladesh in Test matches and the fourth highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman against Zimbabwe in Tests.
  • Mahmudullah's unbeaten 150 was the highest score by an Bangladesh No.8 batsman in Test cricket history, surpassing the his own record of 115 against New Zealand at Hamilton in 2010 and the fifth highest score by a No.8 batsman in Tests.
  • Taskin Ahmed's 75 was his highest score for Bangladesh in Test matches and the second highest-score by an Bangladesh No.10 batsman in Tests after Abul Hasan's 113.
  • 138 : Litton and Mahmudullah set up the record seventh-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe in Test matches, previously held by the unbeaten 73-run stand between Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan Miraz at Dhaka in 2018 and Bangladesh's second highest seventh-wicket partnership in Tests.
  • 191 : Mahmudullah and Taskin Ahmed set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for Bangladesh in Test matches, previously held by the 184-run stand between Mahmudullah and Abul Hasan against West Indies at Khulna in 2012 and the second highest ninth-wicket partnership in Tests.
  • Mehidy Hasan Miraz's 5 for 82 was his seventh best bowling performance for Bangladesh in Test matches and his second best bowling figures against Zimbabwe in Tests.
  • 8 : Mehidy Hasan Miraz equalled a joint seconf most 5-wicket haul or more wickets for Bangladesh in Test matches, jointly with Taijul Islam.
  • Zimbabwe lost their last eight wickets for just 51-runs - which was their 11th worst eight-wicket collapse in Test matches and it is their third worst 8-wicket collapse against Bangladesh in Tests. They went from 225 for 2 to 276 for all out.

* Litton Das's brilliant 95, Half-centuries from Mominul Haque and Mahmudullah led to Bangladesh recovery after Zimbabwe's early attack on the opening day of the one-off Test match.

* Mahmudullah's own record-breaking 150* and No.10 batsman Taskin Ahmed's career-best 75 helped to Bangladesh set up the massive total of 468 before Zimbabwe begin strong reply of 114 for 1 in the day 2 of the one-off Test match.

* Mehidy Hasan Miraz's five-for and Shakib Al Hasan's four-for as Zimbabwe collapse, despite debutant Takudzwanashe Kaitano's cool 87 - Brendan Taylor's blazing 81 give the strong start in their innings in the day 3 of the one-off Test match.

* Shadman Islam's maiden century and Najmul Hossain Shanto's blazing hundred set up the Bangladesh massive target of 477 before Zimbabwe lose rampant Brendan Taylor on the day 4 of the one-off Test match.



Bangladesh 1st Innings scored 468 for all-out in 126-overs with top scorer by Mahmudullah 150 not out off 278-balls - which was his 5th Test hundred and his second century against Zimbabwe in Tests.

Litton Das 95 off 147-balls - who fell five-run short of his century - including 13-fours, Taskin Ahmed 75, Mominul Haque 70 and Shadman Islam 23.

1st Innings Zimbabwe best bowler by Blessing Muzarabani claimed a 4-wickets for 94-runs in 29-overs including four maidens, Donald Tiripano, Victor Nyauchi both took 2-wickets and one for Milton Shumba - Richard Ngarava.

Zimbabwe 1st Innings scored 276 for all-out in 111.5 overs with top scorer by Debutant Takudzwanashe Kaitano - who scored 87 off 311-balls on his debut Test match - including 9-fours.

Brendan Taylor blasted a 81 off 92-balls including 12-fours & a six, Milton Shumba 41, Regis Chakabva 31 not out and Debutant Dion Myers - who scored 27-runs on his debut Test match.

1st Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed a 5-wicket haul for 82-runs in 31-overs including five maidens, Shakib Al Hasan takes 4-wickets for 82-runs in 34.5-overs included ten maidens and Taskin Ahmed took one-wicket.

Bangladesh 2nd Innings scored 284-1 declared in 67.4 overs with top scorer by Najmul Hossain Shanto hammered a unbeaten 117 off 118-balls - which was his 2nd Test hundred and his first century against Zimbabwe in Tests.

Shadman Islam 115 not out off 196-balls - which was his 1st Test hundred - including 9-fours and Saif Hassan 43.

2nd Zimbabwe best bowler by Richard Ngarava took 1-wicket for 36-runs in 9-overs.

Zimbabwe 2nd Innings scored 256 for all-out in 94.4 overs with top scorer by Brendan Taylor blasted a 92 off 73-balls - who fell eight-run short of his century - including 16-fours with strike rate of 126.02.

Donald Tiripano 52, Blessing Muzarabani 30 not out and Dion Mayers 26.

2nd Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Taskin Ahmed claimed a 4-wickets for 82-runs in 24-overs including four maidens.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed a 4-wickets for 66-runs in 30.4-overs including ten maidens, Ebadot Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan both took one-wickets.

In his farewell match Mahmudullah named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best unbeaten 150-runs knocked off facing 278-balls including 17-fours and a six.
