India scored 171 for all-out in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Ashok Mankad struck 44 off 61-balls including 3-fours.

Gundapp Viswanath scored 32 off 59-balls including a boundary, Sunil Gavaskar 20 and Sudhir Naik 20.

England best bowler by Chris Old picked up 3-wickets for 36-runs in 9.3-overs, Robin Jackman takes 3-wickets, Tony Greig took 2-wickets and one for Derek Underwood.

England chased 172-4 in 48.5 overs with top scorer by Keith Fletcher 55 not out, David Lloyd struck 39 off consuming 81-balls including 4-fours, Tony Greig 24 not out, Mike Denness 24 and John Edrich 19.

India best bowler by Syed Abid Ali, Madan Lal, Gopal Bose and Ashok Mankad each took one-wickets.

Keith Fletcher named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 55 off 79-balls including 7-fours.
