Pakistan's seamers led by Hasan Jamil, who took three for 18 in eight overs, sent India reeling for a paltry 79 in 34.2 overs to square the three-match series, The deciding game is at Sahiwal.

Mohinder Amarnath resisted the Pakistan attack hitting a defiant 34 not out, but Pakistan's captain Mushtaq Mohammad's gamble, in putting the visitors in first still paid off as India lasted only 128 minutes

Saleem Altaf started the rot by bowling, opener Sunil Gavaskar in the sixth over, Surinder Amarnath hit a single before he was brilliantly run out by Sarfraz Nawaz.

Pakistan reached their target of 80 in 16.5 overs for the loss of opener Sadiq Mohammad, for one and Zahir Abbas - who scored a power-hitting 48 and Debutant Azmat Rana - who scored a unbeaten 22 off 50-balls on his debut ODI match.

Hasan Jamil named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 18-runs in 8-overs including two maidens.
