Karan KC became the first Nepal bowler to claimed a hat-trick in T20 international cricket history and overall the 23rd player in T20Is. Karan KC became the first Nepal bowler to claimed a five-wicket haul in T20 international cricket history. Karan KC's 5 for 21 was the best bowling figures for Nepal in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 16 held by Basant Regmi against Hong Kong at Belfast in 2015. Nepal's 203 was their sixth highest score in T20 international and It is their highest total against Papua New Guinea in T20Is, previous highest was 183 at same venue in this tournament. PNG 166 was their eighth highest score in T20 international and It is their second highest total against Nepal in T20Is.

Rohit Paudel blasted a 41 off 23-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 178.28, Aasif Sheikh struck 38 off 29-balls included 4-fours & a six.

PNG scored 166 for all-out in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Charles Amini cracked a 62 off 47-balls including 9-fours.

Tony Ura hammered a 43 off 22-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 195.45, Sese Bau 25 and Norman Vanua 17.

Nepal best bowler by Karan KC 5-21, Sompal Kami, Abinash Bohara both took 2-wickets and one for Sandeep Lamichhane.
