Magnificent Mitchell Marsh's 62-ball 89 and Masterclass David Warner's supporting unbeaten half-century steers to Delhi Capitals emphatic eight-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals and keep their play-off hopes alive in a one-sided game of the 58th match of a Indian Premier League.

Delhi Capitals chased 161 was their second highest successful run-chase against Rajasthan Royals in IPL. Rajasthan Royals' 160 was their eighth highest total against Delhi Capitals in IPL. Mitchell Marsh's 89 was his highest score in Indian Premier League and the highest-score by an Delhi Capitals batsman against Rajasthan Royals in IPL, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 79 held by AB de Villiers at Bloemfontein in 2009. 144 : David Warner and Mitchell Marsh set up the record second-wicket partnership for Delhi Capitals against Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League, previously held by the unbeaten 112-run stand between Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan at Delhi in the inaugural 2008 World Cup, It is the Delhi Capitals' third highest second-wicket stand in IPL and DD's fifth highest any-wicket stand in IPL.

RR scored 160-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ravichandran Ashwin struck 50 off 38-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

Devdutt Padikkal hammered a 48 off 30-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 160 and Yashasvi Jaiswal 19.

DC best bowler by Chetan Sakariya, Mitchell Marsh and Anrich Nortje each took 2-wickets.

DC chased 161-2 in 18.1 overs with top scorer by Shaun Marsh hammered a 89 off 62-balls.

David Warner cracked a unbeaten 52 off 41-balls including 5-fours & a six and Rishabh Pant 13 not out.

RR best bowler by Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal both took one-wickets.

Mitchell Marsh named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent all-round performance to smashed a career-best 89-runs knocked off facing 62-balls including 7-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 143.54 after taking a 2-wickets for 24-runs in 3-overs.
