Peter Gallagher struck 14-runs off last-over of the match to Finland registered their historic first T20I win against Denmark by a thrilling 3-wickets and take a 1-0 lead in a nail-biter game of the first T20I.
Denmark scored 137-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rizwan Mahmood blasted a 45 off 30-balls, Saif Ahmad scored 44 off 40-balls including 5-fours & a six and Surya Anand 12.
Finland best bowler by Amjad Sher, Mahesh Tambe both takes 2-wickets, Debutant Mohammad Asaduzzaman - who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match and Peter Gallagher took one-wicket.
Finland chased 142-7 in 19.5 overs with top scorer by Nathan Collins cracked a 36 off 42-balls including 3-fours.
Debutant Sapan Mehta - who scored 33 off 28-balls on his debut T20I match - including 2-fours, Aravind Mohan hit 24 off 18-balls included one-six & a four and Peter Gallagher blasted a unbeaten 18 off 5-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 360.
Denmark best bowler by Omar Hayat picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 4-overs, Saif Ahmad and Amjad Khan both took one-wickets.
Rizwan Mohmood named Player of the match for his quick-fire 45 off 30-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 150.
