Reece Topley's record-breaking 6 for 24 gives England thumping 100-run victory over India and level the series with 1-1 in a one-sided game of the second ODI.

  • England's 100-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs against India in One-day internationals.
  • England's 246 was their third lowest score against India at The Lord's in One-day internationals.
  • 62 : Moeen Ali and David Willey set up the ninth highest seventh-wicket partnership for England against India in One-day internationals.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal's 4 for 47 was his fourth best bowling performance for India in One-day international and his best bowling figures against England in ODIs, previous best was 1 for 43 at same venue on this day in 2018.
  • India lost their top five batsmen wickets for just 73-runs - which was their seventh worst first five-wicket collapse against England in One-day internationals.
  • Reece Topley's 6 for 24 was the best bowling figures for England in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 6 for 31 held by Paul Collingwood against Bangladesh at Nottingham in 2005.
  • Reece Topley became the third England bowler to take a six-for in One-day internationals after Paul Collingwood and Chris Woakes.

England scored 246 for all-out in 49 overs with top scorer by Moeen Ali struck 47 off 64-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours.

David Willey scored 41 off 49-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Jonny Bairstow cracked a run-a-ball 38-runs including 6-fours.

Liam Livingstone scored a run-a-ball 33-runs including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Jason Roy 23 and Ben Stokes 21.

India best bowler by  Yuzvendra Chahal claimed a 4-wickets for 47-runs in 10-overs, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah both took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Shami - Prasidh Krishna.


India scored 146 for all-out in 38.5 overs with top scorer by Hardik Pandya cracked a 29 off 44-balls including 2-fours.

Ravindra Jadeja cracked a 29 off 44-balls including one-six & a four, Suryakumar Yadav scored 27 off 29-balls included 2-fours, Mohammed Shami hIt 23 off 28-balls including 2-fours & a six and Virat Kohli 16.

England best bowler by Reece Topley 6-24, Liam Livingstone, David Willey, Moeen Ali and Brydon Carse each took one-wickets.

Reece Topley named Player of the match for his record-breaking pace bowling attack to claimed a career-best 6-wicket haul for 24-runs in 9.5-overs including two maidens.
