Opener Fakhar Zaman's historic century, Babar Azam's brilliant half-century and Shadab Khan's rapid 48 before Three-wicket hauls from Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah helped to Pakistan narrow 16-run victory over Netherlands, despite a Vikramjit Singh, Tom Cooper - Scott Edwards' fifties and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring game of the first T20I.

  • Pakistan's 16-run win was their smallest victory by terms of runs against Netherlands in One-day internationals, previously they won by 97-runs at Paarl in 2003.
  • Pakistan's 314 was their highest score against Netherlands in One-day internationals, previous highest was 253 at Paarl in the 2003 World Cup.
  • 168 : Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam set up the record second-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Netherlands in One-day Internationals, previously held by the 94-run stand between Saeed Anwar and Ijaz Ahmed at Lahore in 1996.
  • Netherlands' 298 was their fifth highest score in One-day international and it is their highest total against Pakistan in ODIs, previously highest was 156 at Paarl in the 2003 World Cup.
  • Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistan batsman to score a century against Netherlands in One-day international cricket history.

Pakistan scored 314-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Fakhar Zaman cracked a run-a-ball 109-runs - which was his 7th ODI hundred & his first century against Netherlands in ODIs.

Babar Azam struck 74 off 85-balls including 6-fours & a six, Shadab Khan hammered a unbeaten 48 off 28-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 171.42.

Debutant Agha Salman - who scored a unbeaten 27 off 16-balls on his debut ODI match - including 3-fours and Khushdil Shah 21.

Netherlands best bowler by Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek both took 2-wickets and one for Vivian Kingma.

Netherlands scored 298-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Scott Edwards hit a unbeaten 71 off 60-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 118.33.

Tom Cooper cracked a 65 off 54-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes, Vikramjit Singh scored 65 off 98-balls included 5-fours, Logan van Beek 28, Bas de Leede 16 and Teja Nidamanuru 15.

Pakistan best bowler by Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf both picked up 3-wickets and one for Mohammad Nawaz - Mohammad Wasim.

Fakhar Zaman named Player of the match for his  brilliant batting performance to scored a run-a-ball 109-runs including 12-fours and a six.
