West Indies scored 161 for all-out in 35.3 overs - due to rain revised target of 212 from 41-overs - with top scorer by Yannic Cariah cracked a career-best 52 off 84-balls including 2-fours & a six.
Alzarri Joseph hammered a 49 off 31-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 158.06, Shai Hope 16 and Keacy Carty 16.
New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee claimed a 4-wickets for 22-runs in 7-overs including a maiden, Trent Boult picked up 3-wickets for 18-runs in 6-overs included a maiden, Mitchell Santner and Glenn Phillips both took one-wickets.
Finn Allen named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to scored a career-best 96-runs knocked off facing 117-balls including 7-fours and 3-sixes.
