Devon Conway's superb half-century and Glenn Phillips' 19-ball fifty sets up to New Zealand thumping 48-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a fighting knock from captain Shakib Al Hasan's 44-ball 70 and enter into the tri-series final in the fifth match of a Triangular series.

  • New Zealand's 208 was their 12th highest score in T20 international and It is their second highest total against Bangladesh in T20Is after their 210 at Hamilton in the last year.
  • Glenn Phillips equalled a 19-ball joint fifth fastest fifty for New Zealand in T20 international, jointly with Martin Guptill's two times 19-ball half-century and the second fastest fifty by an New Zealand batsman against Bangladesh in T20Is after Finn Allen's 18-ball half-century.
  • 82 : Devon Conway and Martin Guptill set up the third highest second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Bangladesh in T20Is.
  • Bangladesh's 160 was their third highest score against New Zealand in T20Is.

New Zealand scored 208-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Devon Conway blasted a 64 off 40-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 160.

Glenn Phillips hammered a 60 off 24-balls including 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 250, Martin Guptill struck 34 off 27-balls included 3-fours & a six and Finn Allen hit 32 off 19-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 168.42.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mohammad Saifuddin, Ebadot Hossain both took 2-wickets and one for Shoriful Islam.

Bangladesh scored 160-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shakib Al Hasan hammered a 70 off 44-balls including 8-fours & a six.

Liton Das struck 23 off 16-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 143.75 and Soumya Sarkar hit 23 off 17-balls included 3-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Adam Milne picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs, Tim Southee and Michael Bracewell both took 2-wickets.

Glenn Phillips named Player of the match for his quick-fire 60-runs knocked off facing 40-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 160.
