Muhammad Waseem's brilliant fifty and Chundangapoyil Rizwan's superb unbeaten 43 before Basil Hameed and Zahoor Khan's each two wickets sets up to UAE registered a their historic first-ever win in an ICC World Cup tournament by a narrow 7-run victory over Namibia, despite a David Wiese's fighting half-century in a tight-game of the tenth match of a T20 World Cup.

UAE's 7-run win was their second smallest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals after their 5-run win against Ireland at Abu Dhabi in 2016.  UAE's 148 was their highest score against Namibia in T20 international, previously they scored 142 at ICCA Dubai in the last year and It is their second highest total in a T20 World Cup after their against Netherlands at Sylhet in the 2014 World Twenty20. Namibia's 141 was their lowest score against UAE in T20 international, previously they scored 159 at ICCA Dubai in the last year and It is their sixth worst total in a T20 World Cup. 70 : David Wiese and Ruben Trumplemann set up the record eighth-wicket partnership for Namibia in T20 international, previously held by the 23-run stand between Jan Frylinck and Ruben Trumplemann against India at Dubai in the last year T20 World Cup, It is the third highest eighth-wicket stand in T20Is and the highest 8th wicket partnership in a T20 World Cup, surpassing the previous record held by the unbeaten 57-run stand between Moeen Ali and David Willey against Afghanistan at Delhi in the 2016 World Twenty20.

UAE scored 148-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Muhammad Waseem struck 50 off 41-balls including 3-sixes & a four.

Chundangapoyil Rizwan hammered a unbeaten 43 off 29-balls including 3-fours & a six, Basil Hameed blasted a unbeaten 25 off 14-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 178.57 and Vriitya Aravind scored 21 off 32-balls including 2-fours.

Namibia best bowler by Ben Shikongo, Bernard Scholtz and David Wiese each took one-wickets.

Namibia scored 141-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Wiese hammered a 55 off 36-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 152.77.

Ruben Trumplemann scored a unbeaten 25 off 24-balls including one-six & a four and Gerhard Erasmus hit 16 off 18-balls included two boundaries.

UAE best bowler by Basil Hameed, Zahoor Khan both took 2-wickets, Muhammad Waseem, Karthik Meiyappan and Junaid Siddique each took one-wickets.

Muhammad Waseem named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 50 off 41-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 121.95 and his unlikely superb death bowling.
