India's 71-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in T20 international, previous biggest win by 54-runs at Harare in 2015 and It is their third biggest win in a T20 World Cup. India's 186 was their highest score against Zimbabwe in T20 international, previous highest was 178 at Harare in 2015 and It is their joint fifth highest total in a T20 World Cup. 60 : KL Rahul and Virat Kohli set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for India against Zimbabwe in T20 international and the joint eighth highest second-wicket stand in a T20 World Cup. 65 : Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for India against Zimbabwe in T20 international, previously held by the unbeaten 64-run stand between Virat Kohli and Yusuf Pathan at Harare in 2010 and the India's fifth highest fifth-wicket stand in a T20 World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav hammered a 23-ball his third fastest fifty for India in T20 international, It is the fastest fifty by an Indian batsman against Zimbabwe in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 33-ball half-century held by Suresh Raina at Harare in 2010 and the fourth fastest fifty by an Indian batsman in a T20 World Cup. 10 : Suryakumar Yadav hit the most fifty plus scores in a calendar year 2022 in T20Is, beating the Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan's record of nine fifty-plus scores.

India scored 186-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav hammered a unbeaten 61 off 25-balls.

KL Rahul blasted a 51 off 35-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 145.71, Virat Kohli scored 26 off 25-balls included two boundaries.

Hardik Pandya scored a run-a-ball 18-runs including 2-fours and Rohit Sharma 15.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Sean Williams takes 2-wickets for 9-runs in 2-overs, Sikandar Raza, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 115 for all-out in 17.2 overs with top scorer by Ryan Burl blasted a 35 off 22-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 159.09, Sikandar Raza struck 34 off 24-balls including 3-fours and Craig Ervine 13.

India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 4-overs, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya both took 2-wickets, Arshdeep Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Axar Patel each took one-wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav named Player of the match for his scintillating batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 61-runs knocked off facing 25-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 244.
