A record-breaking bowling figures from Tangeni Lungameni's 6 for 42, Gerhard Erasmus' half-century and A all-round display from Ruben Trumplemann's four-for with unbeaten fifty helped to Namibia crushing three-wicket victory over PNG in the 112th match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.
* Tangeni Lungameni's 6 for 42 was the best bowling figures by an Namibia bowler in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 13 held by Jan Frylinck against Oman at same venue in 2019.
PNG scored 236 for all-out in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Assad Vala struck 59 off 53-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes.
Tony Ura cracked a 57 off 70-balls including 8-fours & a six, Kiplin Doriga scored 50 off 92-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes and Sese Bau hit 37 off 49-balls including 4-fours.
Namibia best bowler by Tangeni Lungameni 6-42, Ruben Trumplemann claimed a 4-wickets for 53-runs in 9.2-overs.
Namibia chased 241-7 in 48 overs with top scorer by Gerhard Erasmus struck 71 off 96-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes.
Ruben Trumplemann cracked a unbeaten 55 off 60-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Pikky Ya France scored a unbeaten 23 off 32-balls included a boundary, Zane Green hit 20 off 21-balls including 2-fours and Michael van Lingen 16.
PNG best bowler by Norman Vanua takes 2-wickets, Sese Bau, Riley Hekure, Alei Nao, Assad Vala and Kabua Morea each took one-wickets.
