Sunil Gavaskar cracked a 38 off 61-balls including 4-fours, Yashpal Sharma scored 20 off 59-balls included one-six & a four and Ravi Shastri 18.

England best bowler by Ian Botham claimed a 4-wickets for 56-runs in 11-overs, Paul Allott takes 2-wickets for 21-runs in 11-overs including four maidens and Bob Willis took 2-wickets.

England chased 194-1 in 50.1 overs with top scorer by Barry Wood scored a unbeaten 78 off 137-balls including four boundaries.

Chris Tavaré cracked a 66 off 120-balls including 5-fours and Allan Lamb scored a unbeaten 35 off 50-balls included 4-fours.

India best bowler by Madan Lal took one-wicket for 21-runs in 9-overs including three maidens.

Barry Wood named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 78 off 137-balls including 4-fours.
