Shaun Fouché, Nikolaas Davin, Zane Green and Pikky Ya France stars as Namibia registered their historic first ODI win against Canada by massive 111-runs in a one-sided game of the 12th match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.
Namibia scored 267-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shaun Fouché struck 83 off 107-balls including 7-fours & a six.
Zane Green blasted a 45 off 30-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes, Nikolaas Davin scored a run-a-ball 40-runs included 3-sixes & 2-fours.
Pikky Ya France cracked a unbeaten 34 off 28-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 121.42 and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton scored 18 off 32-balls included two boundaries.
Canada best bowler by Harsh Thaker, Kaleem Sana both took 2-wickets, Debutant Dillon and Dillon Heyliger, Saad Bin Zafar, Nikhil Dutta and Jeremy Gordon each took one-wickets.
Canada scored 156 for all-out in 42.2 overs with top scorer by Ravinderpal Singh struck 34 off 44-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.
Pargat Singh scored 34 off 52-balls including 3-fours & a six, Matthew Spoors hit 32 off 44-balls included 6-fours and Aaron Johnson 15.
Namibia best bowler by Gerhard Erasmus, Pikky Ya France, Bernard Scholtz each took 2-wickets, Ben Shikongo, Ruben Trumpelmann and Shaun Fouché each took one-wickets.
Shaun Fouché named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 83-runs knocked off facing 107-balls including 7-fours & a six.
