Royal Challengers Bangalore chased 172 was their highest successful run-chase against Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League, previous highest chase was 166 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in the inaugural 2008 IPL season. Royal Challengers Bangalore's 22-ball spare win was their ninth largest victory by terms of balls remaining in Indian Premier League and It is their biggest win against Mumbai Indians in IPL, previous biggest win by 15-balls remaining at Dubai in 2014. MI scored 171-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tilak Varma hammered a career-best unbeaten 84 off 46-balls including 9-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 182.60.

Debutant Nehal Wadhera - who scored 21 off 13-balls on his debut IPL match - including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 161.53, Suryakumar Yadav 15 and Arshad Khan 15 not out.

RCB best bowler by Karn Sharma takes 2-wickets, Reece Topley, Michael Bracewell, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep and Harshal Patel each took one-wickets.

RCB chased 172-2 in 16.2 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli blasted a unbeaten 82 off 49-balls including 6-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 167.34.

Faf du Plessis hammered a 73 off 43-balls and Glenn Maxwell 12 off 3-balls included 2-sixes with strike rate of 400.

MI best bowler by Arshad Khan and Cameron Green both took one-wickets.

Faf du Plessis named Player of the match for his match-winning terrific batting performance to smashed a 73-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 6-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 169.76.
